Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Mumbai

Arrive in Mumbai, India’s financial and entertainment capital, and enjoy a warm welcome before relaxing at your hotel.

 

Visit the Prince of Wales Museum, Gateway of India, Gandhi Museum, and the famous Dhobi Ghats. Optional Elephanta Caves excursion available.

 

Fly to Udaipur, the City of Lakes. Explore the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, and Saheliyon-Ki-Bari. Optional Lake Pichola boat ride available.

 

Travel to Deogarh, stopping at the massive Kumbhalgarh Fort en route. Enjoy a village experience, optional jeep safari, or horse riding.

 

Drive to Jaipur, the Pink City, home to grand palaces, vibrant markets, and rich Rajasthani heritage.

 

Visit Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal. Optional hot air balloon ride and elephant safari available.

 

Travel to Agra, stopping at Fatehpur Sikri. Visit the Agra Fort and admire the Taj Mahal at sunset. Optional Taj Mahal theatre show available.

 

Take a train journey to Jhansi, then drive to Khajuraho. Visit Orchha’s medieval palaces before arriving at Khajuraho’s famous temples. Optional dance or sound & light show available.

 

Explore the UNESCO-listed temples of Khajuraho before heading to Allahabad, home to the sacred Triveni Sangam (Ganges, Yamuna & Saraswati confluence).

 

Visit Anand Bhawan, All Saints Cathedral, and Khusro Bagh before driving to Varanasi, the spiritual capital of India. Enjoy an evening Ganga Aarti ceremony.

 

Take a boat ride on the Ganges River, visit Bharat Mata Mandir, Durga Temple, and the Sarnath Buddhist site before flying to Delhi.

 

Visit Qutub Minar, India Gate, Jama Masjid, and enjoy a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk before transferring to the airport.
